Local Roots Glassware AWARD Terms and Conditions

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE OF QUALIFYING PRODUCTS WILL IMPROVE CHANCES. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS WHO ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD.

1. Eligibility: The Local Roots Glassware Award (Award) is open to legal residents of Massachusetts who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Local Roots ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

2. Promotion Period: The entry period for the Local Roots Glassware Award begins at 12 AM Eastern Time (ET) on (1/4/2025) and ends at 11:59 PM ET on (1/31/2025) (the "Entry Period"). A winner will be drawn by 5:00 PM ET on (2/1/2025).

3. How to Enter: Eligible individuals may enter the contest via one (1) of two (2) methods, each of which must be submitted during the Entry Period in the manner instructed below:

A. By Purchasing a Qualifying Product at a Local Roots Store (Sturbridge, MA and/or Fitchburg, MA): During the Entry Period, make a qualifying purchase at a participating Local Roots store in Massachusetts and go to https://www.localroots.cc/sweepstakes to submit a photograph of your receipt.

B. Online Without Purchase: During the Entry Period, go to https://www.localroots.cc/sweepstakes to complete a brief virtual form and submit your contact information without purchasing a product or submitting a photograph of your receipt.

Limit one (1) entry per person. No automated entries or entries by commercial sweepstakes subscription notification or entering service sites. No other form of entry or participation is valid. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different entry methods, email addresses, identities, or any other methods may void that entrant's entries and disqualify that entrant.

4. Prizes: Prizes include non-cannabis item such as a glass bong. Approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize may vary. Four (2) prizes will be awarded. Each Prize is one (1) Glass GRAV bong. Total ARV of $100. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution or cash alternative will be provided except at the Sponsor’s discretion.

5. Winner Selection On or about 2/1/2025 a random drawing will take place from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Two (2) prizes will be awarded. The Sponsor will notify winners via email or phone within three (3) business days of the drawing.

6. Winner Requirements Potential winners will be required to complete and return a liability waiver and a publicity release (where permitted by law) within seven (7) days of notification. If a winner fails to respond within the specified time or is otherwise ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Odds of Winning Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

8. Prize Award and Restrictions Prize must be picked up in-store at a participating Local Roots location. The Sponsor will provide details for prize pickup after winner confirmation. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and duties. Prize may not be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to prize availability. No more than the stated number and value of the Prize will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded.

9. General Conditions By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms and Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes.

10. Limitation of Liability Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or illegible entries. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any liability arising from or related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, possession, or use/misuse of any prize. SPONSOR ENTITIES’ TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE STATED ARV OF THE PRIZE. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. Check your local laws for any restrictions or limitations regarding these limitations or exclusions.

11. Publicity Except where prohibited by law, participation in the contest constitutes each winner's consent to Sponsor's and its agents' use of the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, without further payment or consideration.

12. Privacy Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.localroots.cc/sweepstakes. Entry into this Contest constitutes written consent to receive email, phone calls, and other communications from Sponsor about this Contest, and to the inclusion of winner’s name and city of residence in Massachusetts, in a winner’s list. In addition, entrants agree to receive email communications from Sponsor about its business, products, and services and entry into the Local Roots Underground club. Entrants may opt out of future promotional emails by following the instructions contained in the communication.

13. Disputes Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Massachusetts. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

14. Sponsor The Sponsor of this Contest is Local Roots, 371 Lunenburg St, Massachusetts & Local Roots, 365 Main St, Sturbridge, MA.

15. Responsible Consumption Warning Please consume responsibly. Cannabis product has not been analyzed or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). There is limited information on the side effects of using cannabis product, and there may be associated health risks. Marijuana use during pregnancy and breastfeeding may pose potential harm. KEEP THIS PRODUCT AWAY FROM CHILDREN. There may be health risks associated with consumption of cannabis product. Marijuana can impair concentration, coordination, and judgment. Do not operate a vehicle or machinery under the influence of this drug. In case of accidental ingestion, contact the poison control hotline at 1-800-222-1222 or 9-1-1. Cannabis product may be illegal outside of Massachusetts.

16. Tax Obligations Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs or expenses associated with accepting and using the prize not specified herein as being provided.

17. No Affiliation This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any third-party platforms or social media channels used to promote it.
